Fynd’s crawlers are like little explorers that travel across the internet. They start by visiting a page, then follow the links on that page to discover new pages. As they go, they collect important information like the page title, description, and other helpful content. This data is added to our search index so people can find it later.
But they don’t just stop there.
After some time, our crawlers go back and check on the pages they visited before. If something major has changed, like a new title, new content, or the page has gone missing, we update our records to make sure search results stay fresh and useful.
It’s a simple process, but it helps keep Fynd accurate and up to date with what’s really out there on the web.
If your site is live and has some links pointing to it, our crawlers will likely find it on their own. But if your site is brand new, you can help speed things up by submitting your pages directly at https://fynd.bot/addurl/.

When you add a link to a page, the words you click on are called link text. Some people also call it anchor text.
On some search engines, the exact words in that link matter a lot. That has led people to use strange or spammy links like “click here best shoes buy now” just to try to rank better.
Fynd does not use link text as a factor. What matters most is that the page and its links are helpful and made for real people.
So when you add a link, just make it clear and natural, like:
Learn more about homemade pizza recipes
or
Check out our guide to fixing a bike tire
Good links help visitors, not just robots. That’s the kind of web we want to support.

Want your site to show up on Fynd? It’s easier than you think.
The best way to help us understand your page is by writing a clear title that tells what the page is about. Then write a meta description that gives a little more detail. These are the first things our crawler sees, so make them count.
For example, if your page is about homemade pizza recipes, a good title could be:
"Easy Homemade Pizza Recipes"
And your meta description might be:
"Learn how to make simple and tasty pizzas at home with our step-by-step recipes."
That helps both people and Fynd know what to expect.
One big tip: don’t repeat words in your title, description, or the page itself. Saying “pizza pizza pizza” ten times does not help. It might even hurt, because it can look like keyword stuffing.
Just keep it simple, clear, and written for real people, that’s how you make your site shine on Fynd.

Some websites try to hide extra words on the page, maybe by making the text the same color as the background or tucking it behind images. This is similar to keyword stuffing. They do this hoping search engines will read those words, even if people can't see them.
But Fynd is different. Fynd does not just grab everything on a page. Instead, we try to understand what the page is really about. If we find hidden text, it might confuse our crawler or make the page seem less clear.
In fact, hiding words can make your page look less helpful to us. It might even hurt your chances of showing up in search.
So the best thing to do? Be honest. Show your content clearly and write it for people, not just for bots. That’s how you make Fynd and your visitors happy.

When Fynd visits your website, we look at how helpful your page is, not how fast it loads. So if your site takes a second or two, that's totally fine. We are not in a hurry.
But if your site takes a long time to start loading, like several seconds or more, it might be a problem. Not for Fynd, but for real people. Most visitors will give up if a page is too slow.
So even though Fynd does not punish slow pages, it is still a good idea to make your site fast. A page that loads quickly is just nicer for everyone.
If your page takes more than a few seconds to start, you may want to look at what is slowing it down. A faster website helps visitors stick around and enjoy what you made.
